More Aiden Pictures!!!

Aiden's first weigh-in!!!

Aiden went to the doctor's office today to be measured and weighed. He weighed in at 14 pounds, 5 ounces and was over 2 feet tall! (Actually 24.5 inches) His head has not grown at the same rate as his weight, thank goodness!!! It has leveled off, for now, at 16 inches (only a 1 inch growth from birth.) He also had his first vaccinations today and was a trooper throughout. A few cries, but he was happy once they were done (wouldn't you be?)

Winter in Maine

We also posted some pictures of the weather while we were in Maine. We were very glad to have the Volvo and it probably finally felt at home in the snow. The view from Gouldsboro Point was tremendous right after a 10 inch snowfall on December 30th. We headed to the Point to see Bob and Jackie just as the snow tapered off. But, because we were in Maine, the roads were clear by the time we drove back to Ellsworth! If only Virginia could take notes on how they do it in Maine!

There were a lot of smiles on the trip, since Aiden was always held by one of his relatives. He got to meet cousins (from both Sean and Cindy’s side in Maine), Aunt’s, Great Aunt’s, Uncles and Great Uncles, Grandparents and Great Grandparents and even met a few honorary Aunts and Uncles.

The trip to Maine was full of more presents for Aiden. He will be one well-dressed 2 month-old boy! He also received a ton of really good books, from Goodnight Maine to Notre Dame 101!

Along the way, we took some great pictures of Aiden with his cousin Ty, Great Grandpa Larry, Auntie Michelle and Uncle Raymond, Great Grammie Grace, Grammie Gail, Great Dumpa, Great Aunt Mary and Great Dumma, honorary Aunt Breeze and Uncle Andy, cousins Renie and David, Aunt Amanda, and Great Aunt Janis.
